Brief Bio

Brian as Senior Manager with 24 years with UPS and over a decade of experience in transporting organs and tissue. He designed the solution and convinced UPS hierarchy to allow the human organs for transplant to be transported on UPS aircraft for the first time in 107 years. He worked with ORS and UPS Airlines to allow perfused kidneys to fly unattended on UPS flights. His advocacy for the organ and tissue industry goes beyond his operational responsibilities. Brian serves on Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates Clinical Affairs Board and pushes for operational and policy changes with commercial passenger airlines (Delta, United, etc…) in his role managing them as vendors leveraging the sizable spend of UPS.
