Matching Family Expectations – Collaboration to Support Timely Donation Conversations

Tuesday, June 04, 2024, at 2:00pm

Donation requires a collaborative effort of the multidisciplinary team involved – the hospital, OPO and potential donor family. Throughout the discussion, we will explore the broader benefits of timely collaboration, aiming to enhance outcomes for families while fostering efficiency and success in partnerships between OPOs and hospitals. Additionally, special considerations will be addressed, particularly in assessing family readiness, acknowledging the unique needs of pediatric patient populations versus adults.
