Lindsey began her career as a Registered Nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center’s Trauma and Burn ICU. When Legacy of Hope opened their donor recovery center, Lindsey began part-time work as an RN caring for organ donors. Within a few months, Lindsey transitioned into a Procurement Transplant Coordinator for 3 years. She held the position of Organ Work System Training Coordinator before taking her current role as the Manager of Donation Support. The Donation Support department at Legacy of Hope supports the organ donor process from start to finish – arranging delivery of donor samples, organ allocation, providing supplies and instrumentation for recoveries, organ preservation, and the Donor Recovery Center.
