Meaghan Beerson

The primary presenter is an Program Administrator at a community hospital that oversees adult only kidney transplant. She also works as the Director of Quality for the program and is the primary educator responsible for staff education related to kidney transplantation. She obtained her certification as a critical care nurse (CCRN) in 2003 and graduated with her MSN (clinical nurse specialist) in 2008 where she worked as a clinical
educator at a university-teaching hospital. Her previous experience also includes roles as a critical care nurse in a neuro/trauma ICU and clinical educator and assistant manager for the Emergency Department at a Level 2 trauma center.
