He has spoken widely on regenerative medicine, including twice at the White House and once on Capitol Hill, published in leading journals with some of the top scientists and physicians of our time (e.g. www.nature.com/articles/nbt.3889.pdf) and our work has been featured in for instance Scientific American, The Economist, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), WIRED, The Atlantic and Forbes.
Dr. Giwa is passionate about maximizing the gift of life and transforming transplantation and human health and longevity.

Dr. Giwa holds a PhD in Economics (conducted at SSE and Harvard) and an MBA from Harvard where I graduated with High Distinction and was named a Baker Scholar (as one of only 20 black students at that point since the award’s inceptions in the 1930’s).
