Testimonial As a passionate advocate for organ donation I am honored to participate in this diverse, multi-disciplined workgroup to help us build an end product that will lead to a more consistent approach to diversity, equality, and inclusivity in donation and transplantation. My hope is for organizations and individuals to take a hard look at their current initiatives to identify improvement strategies and promote positive changes to their program through recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, and retention practices that foster a diversified workforce in organ donation and transplantation. I remain committed to working alongside the Alliance in establishing workgroups of health care representatives from diverse backgrounds to serve in varying capacities to advance these initiatives and directly participate in creating a Series of Focused Conversations, as well as other donation and transplantation program resources. The Gift of Life deserves our every effort to preserve it's legacy.
