Yvette Chapman is STA’s Vice President of Business Partner Development, where she oversees the ongoing support, consultation and expansion of STA’s collaboration with hospitals, transplant centers, medical examiners and other vital partners. She previously served as STA’s Director of Transplant Center Development, building rapport and fostering collaboration between the organ procurement community and the transplant center community.
Prior to joining STA, Yvette was in clinical operations at Dallas Nephrology Associates, where she served as the Office Practice Manager. With more than a decade in healthcare, Yvette began her career in organ transplantation as a nurse at Methodist Dallas in the transplant unit. She later became the Senior Transplant Coordinator at The Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Yvette earned a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from South University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently working on her master’s in nursing from the same university. She is also a certified clinical transplant coordinator.
She is a member of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations, the American Society of Transplantation, the American Nephrology Nurses Association, the Organization of Transplant Professionals and the Texas Transplant Society. She also is the former president of the Dallas chapter of the International Transplant Nurse Society.
