Family Services Coordinator’s (FSC’s) are critical partners to patient care providers as they collaboratively support families and, when appropriate, present them with the opportunity for donation. With the outbreak of COVID-19 leading to limited face-to-face interaction, the creative and talented FSC’s at New England Donor Services (NEDS) have explored unique communication strategies that have enabled their team to accommodate families in a considerate and respectful manner during their time of grief.
