Kiersten began her nursing career after graduating from Purdue University. She worked bedside in a medical/surgical ICU before moving to California in 2021 and transitioning to Lifesharing as an organ procurement coordinator. She is on the Region 5 Planning Committee, contributes to OPTN policy review, and continues to take on several process improvement projects within Lifesharing as one of the PI leads. Kiersten loves hiking, catching happy hour with co-workers and visiting her family back home in Indiana.
