New Alliance Community Portal and Learning System Enhances Personalized Access to Learning Programs

0

Continuing a commitment to enhanced learning, The Alliance will unveil a new online Community Portal October 20, 2022, offering a personalized way to manage learning opportunities, continuing education credits and more.

Based on community feedback, we have made changes to accomplish key improvements:

  • A More Personal Experience: Each individual will have an individual account and personalized dashboard that highlights available benefits based on your organization’s partnership level. You can easily view all of your current:
    • Learning Program Registrations
    • Personal Profile Settings
    • CEs and Certificate of Attendance from Prior Learning Programs
    • Payment History
    • Upcoming Learning Programs & Pathways
  • Information Relevant to Role & Position: Based on your profile information and position within the healthcare continuum (which may be specified in your account profile), The Alliance will be able to share specific programs that pertain to your role and organization. While all programs at The Alliance are intended to be interdisciplinary in nature, some programs may be higher priority based on your role or area of practice.
  • Everything in One System: All learning programs are now integrated into one system, meaning you will no longer be required to remember multiple websites, usernames, and/or passwords. Everything will now be easily accessible through your personal account on our website – using a singular, personal username and password. OnBoardingU will transition to the new Community Portal in the next 8 months.
  • One-Click Registration:  Once your account is set up, you can quickly and easily sign up for a variety of learning programs.

Changes to Day-to-Day Experience

Minor changes have been implemented, which may affect your user experience:

  • New Account Set up Required: To effectively set up a personal experience, each user must set up a personal account. In a separate email, you will receive a system-generated email titled, “Welcome to the Alliance Community Portal.” Please open it and follow the steps.
    • IMPORTANT: Be sure to check your Spam/Junk/Promotions email folders, especially if your organization has aggressive firewalls and/or email filters.
  • Individual Registrations: In order to claim CEs for completed programs, it is important that each individual is registered for that particular program. This is easily accessed through your personal dashboard on our website. While group viewing is still permitted and encouraged, participants may only claim CEs by registering themselves for the program or completing the On-Demand webinar and evaluation afterward.  With that, personal CEs will be retained for easy access at any point.
  • Easy Payment System: Each organization has different preferred methods of payment for programs and events. Through this system, you will have options for payment for individual webinars, events, or annual partnerships.
  • CEs and Certificates of Attendance. Your personal dashboard in the new community portal will only include CEs claimed following the launch of the new system. If you have not claimed your CEs for live programs hosted in September and October 2022, please claim them before 5pm ET on October 18. If you are not able to claim them before October 18, you will need to log in to the new community portal to access the OnDemand event associated with that learning program to complete the evaluation and claim your CEs.

  • On October 19, the event registration system will be shut down beginning at 9 am ET.
