From the White House Briefing Room: On Friday, September 22, 2023, President Biden signed into law H.R. 2544, the “Securing the U.S. Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network Act,” which allows for the award of multiple grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements to operate the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network.

The bipartisan initiative was led by Representatives Bucshon and Kelly and Senators Wyden, Grassley, Cardin, Young, and Cassidy.
