WPFL Phase V Recognition

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently released the results from Phase V of the Hospital Organ Donation Campaign, which stimulated more than 43,000 donor registrations nationally. More than 1,000 hospitals and transplant centers, hospital associations and donation organizations were recognized for their outstanding efforts to promote organ, eye and tissue donation and registration between May 2015 and April 2016. The Alliance is proud to be one of 11 national partners supporting this campaign.

The Alliance congratulates all of the honorees on their outstanding efforts to engage our nation’s hospital and healthcare communities in promoting organ, eye, and tissue donation. We encourage more hospitals, state hospital associations and donation organizations across the country to join in the important effort to help increase donor registration.”
