CompuMed invites you to a cost-free live webinar on Frozen Section Essentials for OPOs, to be held December 6, 2023, at 3:00pm ET / 12:00pm PT. The webinar will feature Fernando Chang, IMG, Lead Pathologist Assistant in Surgical Pathology at Rutgers Medical School & University Hospital in Newark, NJ.

Through this lecture, Dr. Chang will delve into the utilization of frozen section techniques, particularly Cryotomy, in the context of OPO operations. Learn the essential methods for achieving precise and accurate telepathology evaluations of kidney and liver tissue from organ donors. Topics include:

Drawing from methodologies pioneered by the late Dr. Stephen Peters, Dr. Chang spearheads the resident training program at New Jersey University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center. Here, he imparts innovative techniques in Anatomic Pathology Rotation, Frozen Sections, and the utilization of Telepathology Aperio Scan Scope. With more than 17 years of experience, Fernando has a wealth of expertise in collaborating closely with OPOs.
